the Founder
Paige Danoff started Sober and Funky in 2022 after discovering how far the world of non-alcoholic beverages had grown since her days as a bartender in the 2010s. As a former bar-owner, Paige missed the community and creativity that comes with making drinks. She started Sober and Funky with the mission of inspiring non-drinkers to know they can still be fun without booze. She takes great pride in introducing them to incredible non-alc beverages.
Paige has become an advocate for non-alc options in bars, restaurants and event spaces. She has hosted several events, including a monthly trivia night at Sans Bar, non-alc cocktail classes at Dear Dry Drinkery, and sober meet-up events like wellness walks and craft nights. Paige has been featured multiple times in Austin Monthly and After Magazine. She plans to continue growing Sober and Funky into a community of fun for non-drinkers in Austin.
